In 1903 Gustav Stickley invited a little know architect, Harvey Ellis to join the company and infuse the Stickley’s robust Mission style with Ellis' whimsical inlays and classically harmonious arches. Today Ellis is known as the "genius in the shadows. “This bookcase is one of his signature pieces.” The inlays walnut, cherry, oak, and maple. The bookcase is made of quartersawn white oak. The bookcase glass doors are keyed. Dimensions are 56 inches high, 56 inches wide and 14 inches deep.
