A Fabulous Game Dinner
Pair a fabulous game dinner with fabulous friends and a remarkable evening has begun. Join your hosts for exquisite game cuisine and fine wine at the home of Debbie and Ben Washburn. Enjoy the original wildlife artwork gracing the Washburn home as this delectable cuisine is prepared. Flash back to the glory days of the Green Bottle Grill as Rick Paler serves as guest chef. Rick’s culinary skills were honed in culinary school in Paris, but his love and appreciation of wild game are home grown. Rick will prepare a multi-course meal of his fabulous game creations. Each plate will be paired with wine from the cellar of Donna and Bill Shergy. This marriage of game and wine is not to be missed.

Wine Dinner for Four Couples
You be the judge! Any wine lover would be thrilled to join one of the city’s premiere wine collectors, Dr. Bill Shergy and Kristen Bodeker, recent graduate of the wine judge training program of the American Wine Society, for a wine dinner for 8 people at the home of Donna and Bill Shergy. This event will emphasize the food and wine pairings with each course. Kris will lead you through each flight of wines, discussing varietals, regions and wine tasting notes. Everything will be taken care of; all you have to do is invite your friends! Starting with champagne and ending with port, your journey through the wine world will no doubt be a memorable experience. The wines have been chosen to showcase varietal characteristics and regional differences. 801 Franklin, a Huntsville tradition in fine food and wine, will have an exquisitively prepared meal of seasonal offerings to complement each flight of wine.
