How it Works

The Crescen-Dough Auction is a fun-filled evening of bidding, socializing, and dining, all to support the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra. You need an advance reservation to attend. Call the HSO at 539-4818 to reserve your spot for an exciting night on the town. Remember, what happens at the Auction stays at the Auction...except all the money made, which goes straight to the Symphony to support its programs and music education.

SILENT AUCTION
Come early to the Auction to bid on almost 400 items and packages in the Silent Auction before the Live Auction begins. The Silent Auction will be open from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. You will find a wide array of items and gift certificates for your home, travel and leisure, entertainment, children, pets, health and beauty, and more. Bid on items especially designed for him and for her. Check out the jewelry and the art. Beat the clock and get your winning bids in on your favorite items.

RAFFLE
You can also buy raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes including a $500 gift certificate to Parisian, a Carlisle pashmina, a sterling bonbon dish, a wine dinner for four at the Heritage Club, and a pair of lovely silver earrings.

DINNER
Your dinner reservation includes a sumptuous meal at the Pair-a-Dice Buffet, featuring prime rib and chicken pomadoro, along with a tempting variety of side dishes and desserts. You will find three cash bars, offering Martinis and Cosmopolitans as the event's signature drinks, as well as full bar selections and hors d'oeuvres. Popcorn, compliments of Van Valkenburgh & Wilkinson Realtors, will add to the excitement of the Live Auction, which will begin at 7:45 p.m.

LIVE AUCTION
The Live Auction items, which are listed on the website, offer something for everyone. Auctioneer Pete Horton and Masters of Ceremony John Malone and Greg Screws will keep the items moving. Don't miss a minute of the excitement! Pick out that special piece of jewelry that was meant for you or someone you know. The Auction's fabulous parties are always popular with bidders. Extend the evening's magic by planning ahead with your friends to buy your favorite party together. Don't let the Betty Grisham or the Blue Dog or the LeRoy Neiman art get away. Trips to the Ritz Carlton, Cherokee Ridge, Tunica, Marriott Shoals, the beach, Colorado, anywhere Continental Airlines flies, the Auburn-Alabama game, a quail hunt....Now is the time to win the bid for LASIK surgery for both eyes or a full orthodontic package.
